‘Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania’ Wins Holiday Weekend at the Box Office

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania on at the box office over the holiday weekend. The newest movie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe brought in $120 million domestically at the box office. This was the strongest opening for an Ant-Man movie. It is expected that internationally the film brought in around $239.30 million. This adds up to a very solid $359.30 million.

The new film is drawing in fans with the big bad Kang the Conqueror being played by Jonathan Majors. Disney has been playing up his role in the film in multiple ways, including bringing the character to Disney California Adventure’s Avengers Campus.

The film kicks off Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It also is the 31st film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The next that is set to come out is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is directed by Peyton Reed, written by Jeff Loveness, and stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang and Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne, alongside Jonathan Majors, Kathryn Newton, David Dastmalchian, Katy O’Brian, William Jackson Harper, Bill Murray, Michelle Pfeiffer, Corey Stoll, and Michael Douglas.
