Hong Kong Disneyland’s Managing Director Michael Moriarty has shared an updated look at the progress of Arendelle: The World of Frozen. In a post on Instagram, Moriarty shared a look at how this new area is getting closer to completion. It shows the progress being made both on the castle and North Mountain. He is joined by Jill Estorino, President and Managing Director, Disney Parks International for the photos. Here is what Moriarty shared:
Another #FirstLookFromHKDL! Sharing the excitement with me is Jill, as we picture ourselves walking into the Kingdom of Arendelle. I’d say this will be one of the many stunning photo spots at #WorldOfFrozen – it frames both the North Mountain and Arendelle Castle.

Arendella: The World of Frozen will allow guests to enter the story of Frozen as it takes place after both the first and second movie. Anna and Elsa have created a Summer Snow Day, which guests are invited to experience. The land will have two attractions:
- Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs – A family friendly coaster that is Frozen themed.
- Frozen Ever After – Also family friendly, this takes guests on a journey to visit Elsa’s ice palace.
Arendelle: The World of Frozen is set to open at Hong Kong Disneyland sometime in late 2023. It is one of three Frozen themed lands that are being developed around the globe. This includes one at Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris and another at Tokyo DisneySea.
