This year, it has gotten a little more expensive to say “I Do” at the Most Magical Place on Earth. Previously, event minimums for Disney Fairy Tale Weddings could start at $3,000 for the Cruise Line and go well above 100K for theme park weddings. Starting in 2023, the minimums have increased for all locations.

Disney Cruise Line
If your dream is the Disney Cruise Line, you’ll be happy to know that this is the most affordable wedding option! The packages start at $3,500 with upgraded locations available. The couple can invite 18 guests with the base package with more guests for a fee. This is a stunning option for any couple that loves to travel and wants to start their forever with a unique ceremony!
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa
Over in Hawaii, Disney Fairy Tale Weddings gives couples two packages to choose from. The Pilialoha package started at $5,600 and allows the couple to invited 18 of their closest friends. The Lokahi package starts at $16,500 and gives a chance to create the wedding of your dreams and tailored to your interested.
Disneyland Resort
As seen in the tweet from Mindy above, this is one of the biggest changes. Instead of “packages” Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort use event minimums that couples are required to spend. In California, the minimum was formerly $10,000 but is now $15,000. Event minimums can be met with food, entertainment, and specialized experiences on top of the venue and ceremony.
Walt Disney World Resort
Over in Florida, the event minimum has also been raised to $15,000. Previously, Disney Fairy Tale Weddings offered ceremonies with event minimums as low as $7,000. This change is a major increase, seeing the minimum for magical memories to remember almost doubling.
At the end of the day, the value of these ceremonies will absolutely vary from couple to couple. While some may find these events overpriced, some couples spend years saving and planning to have their special day just steps away from the magic. No matter where you stand, we hope you get to experience a magical happily ever after, no matter where you exchange vows.
