When the time comes to plan one of the biggest days of your life, many Disney fans turn to Disney Fairy Tale Weddings! Disney offers fans the chance to get married while in some of the most magical places on Earth. Whether you want to get married in front of Disney icons or in a venue that offers the essence of Disney, here are some of the most unique wedding venues offered through Disney Fairy Tale Weddings, and how much they could cost!
Disneyland Resort
Sleeping Beauty Castle
While the Disneyland Resort is not currently offering weddings, many engaged couples dream of getting married at the castle. This is the perfect fairytale love story, complete with a pre-reception at King Arthur Carrousel and a reception at Small World Mall. The married couple is also treated to a one-night stay at the Disneyland Hotel on the wedding nights, compliments of Disney Fairy Tale Weddings.
Here is everything else you need to know about weddings at this venue:
- Ceremonies held on off-season weekdays only.
- Morning ceremonies must occur before park opening, with a Disneyland Resort hotel reception to follow.
- Evening ceremonies begin after park closing, with Small World Mall dinner buffet reception to follow.
- Morning ceremonies can accommodate 2 to 50 guests, in addition to the couple.
- Evening ceremonies can accommodate 2 to 300 guests, in addition to the couple.
- Wedding guests will have access to a website where they can secure Disneyland Resort hotel rooms and Disneyland Resort theme park tickets at discount prices.
While there is currently no cost estimate available on the Disney Weddings website, previous estimates have put morning ceremonies above $60,000 and evening ceremonies and receptions above $100,000.
Walt Disney World Resort
World Showcase in EPCOT
To me, World Showcase weddings are some of the most magical Disney wedding locations. These venues offer couples the chance to get married in a Disney Park without overwhelming Disney imagery as a backdrop. Couples have the choice to choose:
- Eau de France
- Japan Courtyard Bonsai Garden
- Canada Terrace
- China
- Germany Courtyard
- Italy Isola
Each of these venues is $4,500 and they also have an event minimum anywhere from $7,000 to $17,000, depending on when the wedding is held. Also important to note, most of these EPCOT venues are available for 9am ceremonies only and require Disney transportation to the venue.
Tower of Terror
Who doesn’t want to get married in the midst of the glitz and glamour of the 1930s! This Hollywood-inspire hotel is available to guests who are willing to get married after park close. Depending on the season, this could put the wedding pretty late, or early, into the day. Like other in-park venues, Disney chartered transportation is required for the venue.
This location is simply stunning and can be transformed for any type of feeling for the ceremony. The beautiful flowers and greenery lend themselves a beautiful and timeless wedding, while the hotel itself lends itself to a spooky vibe. Either way, a wedding here is sure to be unforgettable.
This venue is $4,500 with an event minimum between $15,000 and $25,000 depending on the time of year.
Tree of Life
New to Disney Fairy Tale Weddings, Disney fans can now get married inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom! The Tree of Life offers a gorgeous, well-lit backdrop while couples exchange vows. This venue is available after Disney’s Animal Kingdom closes to guests. Here are some other things to note for this venue!
- This experience is available in the evening, after the closing of Disney’s Animal Kingdom park.
- Additional lighting is required.
- Disney chartered transportation is required for this venue.
- Events in outdoor locations may be moved indoors due to inclement weather. A decision will be made a maximum of 5 hours prior to the start time of your event.
- Please be aware that ambient noise may be a factor during your outdoor event.
This venue is $4,500 with an event minimum between $15,000 and $25,000 depending on the time of year.
Magic Kingdom Train Station
This venue gives couples the opportunity to use Cinderella Castle AND Main Street U.S.A as a backdrop. The ceremony fee for this location include use of the location for one hour, chairs, sound system, string trio and Main Street Vehicles. - This one-of-a-kind venue is perfect for couples seeking a magical, nostalgic ceremony for themselves and their guests.
- Enjoy picture-perfect views all the way down Main Street, U.S.A. to Cinderella Castle.
- Motorized Main Street Vehicles are included with the ceremony to transport your wedding guests.
- Disney Fine Art Photography is required for this location.
This is a $15,000 ceremony fee with an event minimum between $20,000 and $50,000 depending on the time of year.
Magic Kingdom East Plaza Garden
This in-park venue is just a bit different, as the ceremony will take place during park operating hours! This venue offers breathtaking views of Cinderella Castle and allows couples to live out their fairytale dreams. Every royal couple needs a “Happily Ever After!” after all! Ceremonies at this venue are estimated to begin at 9AM and with the fee, you get use of the location, upgraded chairs, sound system, greenery package, string trio and Main Street Vehicles for your wedding party
The cost of this venue is $25,000 with an event minimum between $20,000 and $50,000 depending on the time of year.
Magic Kingdom After Hours
This venue offers a truly unique experience for couples. When you walk down the aisle, you will be walking down Main Street, U.S.A to your significant other! Ceremonies in this venue begin two to three hours after Magic Kingdom closes, to give plenty of time to clear guests out from the operating day and begin set up for this magic moment!
Getting married in front of the twinkling lights of Cinderella Castle is sure to create memories that will be cherished forever, both by the couple and the wedding guests.
The cost of this venue is $30,000 with an event minimum between $20,000 and $50,000 depending on the time of year.
All these incredible venues, and this is only scratching the surface! Disney Fairy Tale Weddings offers so many incredible venues, but these are some of the most incredible to me!
