Synopsis for “The Mandalorian” Season Three Gives Clues For What’s To Come

The synopsis for the third season of The Mandalorian has been released and it gives hints as to what will be coming in the future for the series. While not a ton is known about what is coming in the next season for Mando and Grogu, a synopsis gives some hints about what might be in store. This could mean seeing some familiar faces along with some new ones in the coming season.

The Mandalorian Season 3 Synopsis

The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.

It looks like this season of The Mandalorian might have a bigger scale than the first two. With the growth of the New Republic, there is definitely a chance that there will be a larger-scale story being told. There will also be some familiar faces returning. So far it is known that Greef Karga (Carl Weathers), The Armorer (Emily Swallow), Peli Motto (Amy Sedaris), and Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) are returning.

There is also the possibility of the return of Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison), Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant), and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen). There is also the chance that Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) could be making an appearance. Others that could make an appearance in the next season of The Mandalorian could include Captain Carson Teva (Paul Sun-Hyung Lee), Grand Admiral Thrawn, or even Qira (Emilia Clarke) if the Crimson Dawn ends up being a part of the plot.

At this point, the only thing that is officially known is what was seen in the trailer, some photos, and the synopsis. There are a lot of different directions season three of The Mandalorian could go. Where do you think it should go? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
