After another closure due to a surge of COVID-19 cases, Shanghai Disneyland is again reopening its gates on December 8, 2022. A post on the Shanghai Disney Resort website shared the news. This comes after the park closed down at the end of November because of the conditions of the pandemic in the region.
The post reads as follows:
Dear tourists:
Shanghai Disneyland will reopen on December 8, 2022, marking the full resumption of operations of Shanghai Disney Resort. On December 8, Shanghai Disneyland will operate from 8:30-20:00.
Please inquire about Shanghai Disneyland ticket information through the official website of Shanghai Disney Resort, App, official WeChat public account, reservation service center or contact the resort’s official travel partners.
We will update the epidemic prevention instructions for tourists in the resort according to the latest government epidemic prevention and control measures. Tourists must understand the instructions before playing and strictly follow them. Some scenic spots, live entertainment performances, restaurants and shops may temporarily suspend their operations or open or present them with reduced capacity. Please check the resort’s official App for the latest operating information in a timely manner.
For tourists whose travel plans are affected during the temporary closure, please contact the original purchase channel for consultation, refund or rescheduling.
