This year she releases her memoire called Finding Me. The audio book of this garnered her as Grammy Award for Best Audio Book, Narration & Storytelling Recording.

The Candlelight Processional’s tradition dates back to the days of Walt Disney. It had very humble beginnings that has grown through the years. What hasn’t changed for the most part is that this is a large production that tells the story of Christmas with the celebrity narrator, mass choir, orchestra, handbell choir, and fanfare trumpeters. Daps Magic will have video up later today with Viola Davis as the narrator for this year’s Candlelight Processional.

  1. I did the Candlelight procession back in 80 or 81, when the narrator was Michael Landon. He was the perfect narrator. With him narrating and the huge choir, it was so special we were all crying our eyes out while singing. I still tear up just remembering it. It was one of those really special moments in life you just don’t forget.
