Hong Kong Disneyland’s World of Frozen may not be opening until next year but Disney is sharing a look at the progress being made on the new area. Both the Disney Parks and Walt Disney Imagineering Instagram channels shared photos of the World of Frozen today.
The Walt Disney Imagineering Instagram posted the following:
Imagineers are hard at work on the forthcoming #WorldofFrozen land opening next year at @hkdisneyland. Each month we’ll be sharing some #FirstLookFromHKDL images detailing the evolution of the land and the work Imagineers are doing.
In this #FirstLookFromHKDL, we’re taking a closer look at the Arendelle Castle. Enhanced by Queen Elsa’s icy magic, the castle’s design references the Frozen films, and it is accented with icy features.
Stay tuned each month for additional sneak peeks!

Hoo-hoo 👋 Are you ready for an un-brrr-lievable sneak peek of #WorldofFrozen? ❄️
Opening next year at @HKDisneyland, Arendelle Castle is coming to life! Not only is it home to the kingdom’s royal family, it’s where Anna and Elsa were born and raised. The castle’s design references the Frozen films and will soon be topped off with icy ornamentation.
And this is just the #FirstLookFromHKDL, stay tuned as we continue to share more!
