MagicBand+ has arrived at the Disneyland Resort. Magic Key holders, DVC members, and eligible cast members can now purchase and use MagicBand+ throughout the Disneyland Resort for unique and magical experiences. There are also MagicBand+ designs that are unique to the Disneyland Resort and one that is exclusive to Magic Key holders. The Magic Key exclusive MagicBand+ also has its own light-up theme.
Magic Key holders who wish to purchase a MagicBand+ will get their normal discounts. There is also a $10 discount on the Magic Key MagicBand+. Magic Key holders can purchase MagicBand+ wearables at the following locations:
- Disneyland Park – Starcade
- Disney California Adventure Park – Super Store featuring Avengers Campus
- Downtown Disney District – Building adjacent to Star Wars Trading Post
Here are the specifics from Disney on getting MagicBand+:
Magic Key holders must present their valid Magic Key pass prior to purchases to receive any applicable benefits or discounts. Benefits and discounts are valid only at select locations, are subject to restrictions and exclusions, and are determined solely by Disney at Disney owned and operated locations. Subject to change or cancellation without notice.
Valid Magic Key pass required. Limit 2 per Magic Key holder.
Both a park reservation and valid pass are required for park entry. Magic Key park reservations are limited and subject to the availability of park reservations allocated to Magic Key passes, blockout dates, and capacity. Park entry is not guaranteed for any date for any pass.
Disneyland Resort
MagicBand+ will be available for general Disneyland Resort guests on October 26, 2022. When MagicBand+ becomes available for all guests, they will be found at the following locations:
- Downtown Disney District: World of Disney, Disney’s Pin Traders
- Disneyland park: Emporium, Pioneer Mercantile, Tomorrow Landing (reopening Oct. 26)
- Disney California Adventure park: Elias & Co., Trolley Treats, Oswald’s, Seaside Souvenirs
- Hotels of the Disneyland Resort: Disney’s Fantasia Shop, Mickey in Paradise, Acorns Gifts & Goods
For Magic Key holders who have purchased a MagicBand+, here are the instructions for setting it up:
MagicBand+ offers guest more immersive experiences at the Disneyland Resort. This starts with the entrance when they are able be used to enter the park (with reservations and connection to valid admission in the Disneyland App), to Lightning Lane access (with purchase of Genie+ or individual Lightning Lane), and also as MagicBand+ interacts with different elements, attractions, and shows throughout the Disneyland Resort.
