Halloween is being celebrated at Disneyland Paris in the form of Disney Halloween Festival. This celebration of Halloween runs from October 1 through November 6, 2022. With it comes two Disney Halloween Parties. These celebrations come as Disneyland Paris is also celebrating its 30th anniversary.
Throughout Disneyland Paris, Halloween decorations can be found. This includes smiling pumpkins, garlands with lights, lanterns, and joyful skeletons. This year the Disney Hotels are also joining the celebration with fall decorations.
During Disney Halloween Celebration, there is also a cavalcade with Disney characters in their Halloween costumes. Mickey is also on the “Mickey’s Illusion Manor” float.
The Disney Villains are taking over Disneyland Paris during the season. The Royal Castle Stage becomes the haunting grounds for Maleficent, Captain Hook, the Queen of Hearts, Cruella de Vil, and other villains. As night rises, the Disney Villains also have one more surprise in store: Nightfall with Disney Villains. They have a devious plan to take over Sleeping Beauty Castle that just might work. This includes dancing fountains and projections as they attempt their wicked plans. All of this happens before Disney D-Light and Disney Illuminations.
It wouldn’t be a Disney celebration without some delectable dishes! This celebration is no exception. There are lots of seasonal treats to enjoy including the Wicked Whip, the Maleficent Sundae at the Lucky Nugget, a “Mickey Mummy” lollipop, and so much more. There are also some “Fang-tastic beverages” that can be found at select bars and restaurants. This includes the Little Devil Cocktail, the Poisoned “Apple,” and also the Oogie Boogie mocktail.
There is also a wide variety of seasonal merchandise, including these Mickey ears to help get in the spirit of the season.
There are also some attractions at Disneyland Paris that are perfect for this season. Disney shared the following ideas for the Halloween season attractions saying: Test your courage traveling through the haunted forest of Blanche-Neige et les Sept Nains, discover the depths of Sleeping Beauty Castle at La Tanière du Dragon, and trespass through the gates of Phantom Manor at Disneyland Park. Once you’re done there, hop over to Walt Disney Studios Park where you’re invited, if you dare, to step aboard a maintenance service elevator traveling directly to another dimension on the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
There will also be two Disney Halloween Parties this year. They will be offered at Disneyland Paris on October 29th and then again on October 31st, 2022, and last until 2:00 AM. This will allow guests to enjoy attractions throughout the park well into the night, enjoy an exclusive parade, and also experience new shows that were created specifically for the parties. Adventureland’s caves and crypts will also be getting an extra dose of spookiness as they become the home for strange creatures and ghostly encounters that will be lurking throughout Frontierland. Throughout the night, Disney Villains will be celebrated throughout the park.
