Behind the Gears of Disney and Pixar’s ‘Cars on the Road’ (2022) Announced for The Walt Disney Family Museum

The Walt Disney Family Museum has announced a new program based on Disney and Pixar’s new Cars on the Road. On September 28, 2022 at 5:00 PM PT Behind the Gears of Disney and Pixar’s Cars on the Road (2022) will be hosted by The Walt Disney Family Museum on Zoom.

This virtual presentations will give a behind-the-scenes look at Pixar’s new series Cars on the Road (2022) that is now on Disney+. The program will include Director and Pixar veteran Bobby Pedestal. After the presentation, there will be a Q&A with Directors Brian Fee and Steve Purcell along with Producer Marc Soundheimer join the event.

Those who want to participate must sign up by 5:00 PM PT on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 on The Walt Disney Family Museum Website. All participants must also have a Zoom account to be able to attend. Once signed up, a link to the webinar along with instructions will be sent via email ahead of the event.

The Walt Disney Family Museum shared that tickets will go on sale at the following times:

  • Walt’s Circle Donors: Reserve tickets beginning Tuesday, September 13 at noon by calling 415.345.6810 or emailing membership@wdfmuseum.org
  • Supporter and Friend-level members: Reserve tickets beginning Wednesday, September 14 at noon by calling 415.345.6810 or emailing membership@wdfmuseum.org
  • All member levels: Reserve tickets online or at Ticket Desk beginning Thursday, September 15 at noon
  • Public (non-members): Remaining tickets available online or at Ticket Desk beginning Friday, September 16 at noon

The Walt Disney Family Museum is also currently hosting Walt Disney’s The Jungle Book: Making a Masterpiece exhibit. This will continue to be there through January 8, 2023.
