In the 1990s, the Trashcan Trio could be seen performing at Disneyland. This continued on into the 2000s before the trio of performers disappeared. On July 17, 2022, the trio was once again seen at the Disneyland Resort. This may not have been the day of their return but it was the first day that the DAPS MAGIC team has seen them in years.
The trio of performers are dressed as if they work for the custodial department. When they “take a break,” their trashcans turn into a drum kit. A brief performance ensues before the group has to go “back to work!”
The Trashcan Trio did not appear on the Disneyland App or website on Sunday but they most certainly appeared in Disney California Adventure near the entrance of The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure. It is unknown at this time if they will be a part of the regularly offered entertainment at the Disneyland Resort moving forward.
