Disney+ Celebrates Season 3 of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series with a Red Carpet Premiere Event on the Walt Disney Studios Lot

BURBANK, JULY 27, 2022 – Disney+ celebrated the third season premiere of the Original series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series with a star-studded red carpet event on The Walt Disney Studios Lot in Burbank, CA. The third season of the series from Disney Branded Television launched today on Disney+, and new episodes will stream weekly on Wednesdays. 

High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season three cast and producers in attendance included Joshua Bassett (“Ricky”), Sofia Wylie (“Gina”), Matt Cornett (“E.J.”),Dara Reneé (“Kourtney”), Frankie Rodriguez (“Carlos”), Saylor Bell Curda (“Maddox”), Adrian Lyles (“Jet”), Corbin Bleu (as himself), Meg Donnelly (“Val”), Jason Earles(“Dewey Wood”) Kate Reinders (“Miss Jenn”), Aria Brooks (“Alex”), Liamani Segura (“Emmy”), Ben Stillwell (“Channing”), Olivia Rose Keegan (“Lily”), Olivia Rodrigo (“Nini”), Larry Saperstein (“Big Red”), Joe Serafini (“Seb”), JoJo Siwa (“Maddox”) and Tim Federle (Creator/Executive Producer).

In addition to Bleu, the event was also attended by original “High School Musical” cast member Monique Coleman as well as Siwa’s girl group XOMG Pop! Trevor Tordjman, Pearce Joza, Carla Jeffery, Emilia McCarthy, and Kingston Foster stepped out to support their “Zombies 3” costars, along with cast members from Disney+ and Disney Branded Television shows including “The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers,” “Big Shot.” “The Mysterious Benedict Society,” “Bunk’d,” “Kim Possible,” “Villains of Valley View,” “Ultra Violet and Black Scorpion” and “Raven’s Home” and “Love, Victor.” 

Season three of “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” is set at  Camp Shallow Lake, a sleepaway camp in California, as the Wildcats and their fellow campers are primed for an unforgettable summer ripe with romance, curfew-less nights and a taste of the great outdoors. With a high-stakes production of “Frozen” on the horizon AND a drama-filled “docu-series” of the production in the works, the Wildcats will attempt to show who is “best in snow” without leaving anyone out in the cold.

New episodes from season three of “High School Musical: the Musical: The Series” will be available on Wednesdays on Disney+.  The series was recently greenlit for a fourth season.
