When World of Color returns to Disney California Adventure on April 22, it will be utilizing a virtual queue for fans to reserve spots for the show. The virtual queue will open daily at noon. Guests who successfully make a virtual queue selection will receive a notification on the Disneyland App for where to enter a designated World of Color viewing area about 45 minutes before the show begins.
Those who wish to attempt to enter the virtual queue will need to have entered Disney California Adventure or Disneyland (with a park hopping ticket or Magic Key) before 12:00 PM. They will then utilize the Disneyland App to enter the virtual queue system. There will be two main entrance points for those who were successful with the virtual queue, the Blue or the Yellow. Those who were unsuccessful in getting a virtual queue selection can visit the Paradise Bay viewing area shortly before World of Color and check in with a cast member for any walk-up viewing options that might be available. While the virtual queue for World of Color is not required to be able to see the show, it definitely is highly recommended.
There will also be World of Color dining packages available. For $50, adults can dine at Storytellers Cafe or Wine Country Trattoria, or for $56-$74 at Carthay Circle. All three locations offer a $25 option for kids ages 3-9. There are different options for dining at Carthay Circle or Wine Country Trattoria for lunch or dinner. Storytellers Cafe only offers a buffet dinner. Each location will offer guests a voucher that reserves a standing spot in the preferred viewing area. Reservations for the dining packages can be made up to 60 days in advance via the Disneyland app or the Disneyland website. These will become available on April 20, 2022.
The World of Color Dessert Party will also be making a return. This is $84 per person and children under 2 are free, but must sit on an adult. It allows guests into a reserved seating area one hour before showtime in Paradise Gardens Park. During this time guests will get to enjoy desserts, appetizers, and also beverages. As with the other dining packages, reservations will become available on April 20, 2022, and can be made up to 60 days in advance.
