The Mad Hatter can once again be found at Disneyland. With the reopening of Disneyland Resort, many favorite Disney characters could be found waving and guests and posing for selfies. The Mad Hatter, unfortunately, was not one of those characters. Last week traditional Disney character interactions returned and with them, the Mad Hatter was still not there. This changed on Saturday, however.
The Mad Hatter again could be found again at Disneyland with Alice in Wonderland. His antics, as always, were humorous and memorable. The return of the Mad Hatter to Disneyland is a very welcome step forward in the return to normalcy.
Many times during the phased reopening of Disneyland Resort has found Alice meeting guests in a yard on the East side of the Hub. She was also joined by the Cheshire Cat last spring. Even with these two fantastic characters greeting guests, quite often guests would ask “where’s the Mad Hatter?” This reporter has experienced this multiple times. The return of the Mad Hatter this weekend will make for a very welcome addition for guests who have been wanting to visit him and experience his antics.
While the Mad Hatter has returned to the Disneyland Resort, at this point there is no word on if or when Musical Chairs will return to Coke Corner. At this point, the piano is still up at Jolly Holiday and hasn’t returned to Coke Corner either. DAPS MAGIC will continue to keep tabs on this story and provide updates as they become available.
