Disney has announced the opening of the Connections Café & Eatery in World Celebration of Epcot will be on April 27. Inside will be home to a café and pastry shop, along with the new location for the Starbucks within the park. A soft opening has been reported earlier today with many saying it is mostly the Starbucks area that is open. Several photos were released by Disney including some glimpses of the decoration along the walls. A large mural depicts communities while teapots and other dishes line a few shelves to highlight different cultures. One highlight is how some of the flooring around the registers is an homage to the “Florida Project” plans.
The addition of Connections Café & Eatery comes as EPCOT continues to undergo a massive multi-year transformation. This process has included new entertainment, areas, attractions, and more. Along with this new dining location opening this month, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be opening at EPCOT.
