TRON Lightcycle / Run Vehicles Coming to Magic Kingdom

Progress continues to be made on TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom. Soon, guests will see the ride vehicles soaring above Tomorrowland as Imagineers enter the next phase of ride testing.

In a post on the Disney Parks Blog, the next phase of ride testing was explained. The next phase is a process called “push/pull.” During this phase, “sections of the seven-vehicle train are slowly moved through the entire ride track. Once the track is completely ready, trains will begin launch tests at incremental speeds, with the team eventually working their way up to full-speed launches.”

While this process happens, guests will be able to see it happening when they visit Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom. A new video was released with Executive Ride Engineer, Jerold Kaplan giving a behind-the-scenes look at the process.

DAPS MAGIC will continue to follow this story and provide updates about the progress of this attraction. Are you excited about this attraction? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
