New Turning Red Posters Arrive a Month Before Pixar Movie’s Release on Disney+

On March 11, 2022, or just one month from today, Disney and Pixar’s Turning Red will debut on Disney+. This will be Pixar Animation Studios’ 25th feature film. In it, Mei Lee (voiced by Rosalie Chiang) is a confident and dorky 13-year-old who is torn between staying as her mother’s dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. On top of that, there is one more complication. When she gets too excited she “poofs” into a giant red panda!

Today Pixar released posters that showcase Red Panda Mei’s ever changing emotions. Check them out here:

Rosalie Chiang as Mei Lee is joined by Sandra Oh as her protective and overbearing mother Ming. Others in the cast include Ava Morse, Hyein Park, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Orion Lee, Wai Ching Ho, Tristan Allerick Chen, Lori Tan Chinn, Mia Tagano, Sherry Cola, Lillian Lim, James Hong, Jordan Fisher, Finneas O’Connell, Topher Ngo, Grayson Villanueva, Josh Levi, Sasha Roiz, Addie Chandler and Lily Sanfelippo.

This song also includes music. Billie Eilish and FINNEAS wrote three songs for the a fictional band in the film called 4*Town. Ludwig Göransson (known for The Mandalorian and Black Panther) is composing the store. Turning Red is directed by Domee Shi, the Academy Award winning director behind the Pixar short Bao. It is being produced by Lindsey Collins (Finding Dory).
