Disney and Google Reach Deal and Disney Channels Return to YouTube TV

Disney Channels are again returning to YouTube TV after being dropped Friday night at midnight. After not being able to reach a deal before the deadline, Google and Disney reached a deal to resume service on YouTube TV.

The resolution will lead to Disney Channels being offered again on the streaming service. This will include local ABC channels, Disney channels, and ESPN channels. With the return of these channels also came a return to the normal price for YouTube TV. Over the weekend YouTube TV lowered the monthly price by $15. It is now back at its normal price of. $64.99. Impacted members will get a $15 discount.

These are the channels that were removed during the dispute:

  • Local ABC channel
  • ABC News Live
  • Disney Channel
  • Disney Junior
  • Disney XD
  • Freeform
  • FX
  • FXX
  • FXM
  • National Geographic
  • National Geographic Wild
  • ESPN
  • ESPN2
  • ESPN3 (by authentication to the ESPN app)
  • ESPNU
  • ESPNEWS
  • SEC Network
  • ACC Network

All of these channels should be returned to YouTube TV shortly, along with members recordings.
