Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts Welcome International Guests Back to the Parks

Today the United States reopened its borders to international guests. They had been shut down due to the pandemic. Because of this, international guests were unable to visit Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts. Now with the ability for international guests to again experience the magic of these two Resorts, both Disneyland and Walt Disney World are ready and excited for their return.

Disney released a video and a post on the Disney Parks Blog celebrating the return of international guests. It begins with a blue sky that has clouds with the word “welcome’ in several different languages. It then moves on to a montage of magical moments from the parks, characters waving, cast members welcoming guests back into both Disneyland and Magic Kingdom, and highlights from attractions at both resorts. It ends with Mickey and Minnie waving in front of Cinderella Castle and as the camera pans to the sky, the words “See ya real soon!” appear.

Along with the welcome back video, there are also details of all the fun things to do at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort. At Disneyland, the focus is Avengers Campus, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and the holidays. Walt Disney World’s focus is on all of the exciting things happening for its 50th anniversary celebration.

The reopening of the borders for the United States marks one more step towards “normalcy” for guests at the Disney Parks. Many international travelers have been waiting for their chance to again experience the magic at Disneyland or Walt Disney World Resorts. Now, they will get that chance.
