The Merriest Season of All returns to the Disneyland Resort in ways that we all remember! From November 12, 2021 through January 9, 2022, the Happiest Place On Earth becomes “The Merriest Place On Earth,” and you can’t help but smile at this wonderful news!
Traditions we know and love are coming back after being missed in 2020. Cheerful entertainment, holiday treats, special merchandise, plus seasonal decor and transformations will make the holidays special once again.
The entertainment we all cherish during the holiday season is coming back! “A Christmas Fantasy” Parade will once again delight everyone with its classic music and will feature our favorite units and characters, and of course Santa Claus! At night, the skies of Disneyland come alive with the return of “Believe.. In Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular! Oh, and of course, we can’t forget the magical snowfall at the end of the fireworks show.
Santa Claus will not only be in “A Christmas Fantasy” Parade, but he will also be making special other stops throughout both parks.
Main Street, U.S.A. will sparkle yet again with the amazing 60-foot Christmas tree and the bright lights of Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle. Both of these holiday enhancements will enchant your holiday visit and bring lasting memories.
Plus the seasonal transformations will happen once again at “it’s a small world” Holiday and the 20th installation of Haunted Mansion Holiday continues during the holiday season.
At Disney California Adventure park, Festival of Holidays and “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!” returns with its classic sights, sounds and tastes of a diverse season of celebrations during this festive time of year, including Christmas/Navidad, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Three Kings Day. Friends and families are invited to celebrate with “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!” as Disney characters host a fun street party featuring Mexican folklórico dancers and Mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists, giant mojiganga puppets and Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in their fiesta best! At Paradise Gardens, you’ll enjoy festively themed food and beverages, live music and dance, and later in the holiday season, Mirabel from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ upcoming film “Encanto” will make her park debut.
Over in Cars Land, our favorite four-wheeled residents will be pulling out all the stops with their holiday décor. From the snow-covered billboard at the entrance all the way to the hubcap-studded tree at the courthouse, you will see automotive ornamentation at its finest along Route 66. Plus the festive magic to two popular attractions returns as they transform into Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree.
Also around the resort, traditional holiday décor and carolers bring the holiday spirit to Downtown Disney District and the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort. Over at the lobby inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, you’ll want to discover all the fun, new details on the giant gingerbread house this year.
With so much to do at the Disneyland Resort, where will your merrymaking begin?
