Disneyland Resort to Open Stage 17 in DCA for Halloween Shopping

Stage 17

Halloween is upon us! If you want to get your Disney-themed spooky shopping done, Downtown Disney District is the place! The newest extension of the shopping district,  the Disneyland Resort Backlot Premiere Shop, will be opening up in Stage 17 very soon!

The Disneyland Resort Backlot Premiere Shop will act as an extension to World of Disney! Disney has said that they will also be utilizing virtual queues for this location. When this opens, you can find the entrance on the East side of the Esplanade, past Disneyland and Disney California Adventure’s entrances.

You may recognize Stage 17 in Disney California Adventure Park as the former home to Olaf’s Snow Fest or the yearly Celebrate Gospel events. Because this soundstage is on the outskirts of Disney California Adventure Park, it makes it easy to use the space without allowing guests into the streets of the park.

I think this is a great idea because the virtual lines for World of Disney can be hours long depending on the crowds. This way, more guests have an opportunity to grab their Halloween merchandise!

Are you excited to see Disney using Stage 17 for more shopping opportunities? Be sure to connect with us on Twitter and Facebook to let us know what you think!
