Frozen 2 Wins Top Soundtrack at 2020 Billboard Music Awards

The soundtrack for Disney’s Frozen 2 has won the top soundtrack at this year’s Billboard Awards. The film, which premiered on November 22, 2019, is the highest-grossing animated film of all time. It garnered $1.5 billion at the box office. It also was one of three Disney films nominated for the category. It was joined by the live-action remake of Aladdin and also Descendants 3.

Frozen 2 is the sequel to 2013’s Frozen and had returning cast members Kristen Bell (Anna, Princess of Arendelle), Idina Menzel (Elsa, Queen of Arendelle) Josh Gad (Olaf), and Jonathan Groff (Kristoff) on its soundtrack. This included some new songs like Into the Unknown, Show Yourself, Lost in the Woods, and The Next Right Thing.
