The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

The Falcon and Winter Soldier Release Delayed to 2021

This evening, Marvel Studios released the trailer for WandaVision which will be releasing on Disney+ later this year. In a press release they put out to accompany the trailer, they noted that WandaVision would be the first series to come from Marvel Studios. This means that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has officially been delayed to 2021.

In addition to the press release, the Disney+ streaming service also updated the description of the series to say “coming in 2021.” Previously, the description noted that this series would be released in Fall 2020. While it’s disappointing to see it delayed further, it is exciting to note that we will still have a Marvel series this year!

While WandaVision won’t be releasing in Fall 2020 but rather December, it still seems that these two series have simply swapped places on the release calendar for Marvel Studios. Nonetheless, I am still excited to see this series when it hits the Disney+ streaming service next year!

What do you think of this delay for the new series? Are you disappointed that we will have to wait for another year? Be sure to connect with us on Twitter and Facebook to let us know what you think!
