World of Disney - Downtown Disney District

Disney to Close Disney Stores, Downtown Disney, Disney Springs, & Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

The Walt Disney Company is closing all of its Downtown Disney and Disney Springs locations. It will also be closing its Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. Disney has decided to make this decision in “an abundance of caution and in the best interest of our guests and cast members.” This comes also to keep the Disney locations in line with the guidance that has come from both the state and federal guidelines.

Here are the closing dates for these Disney locations:

  • Disney Stores – March 17
  • Downtown Disney District – March 17
  • Disney Springs – March 18
  • Walt Disney World Resort Hotels – March 20
  • Disney’s Very Beach Resort – March 20
