Happy Sunday from the Disneyland Resort. I got to Disneyland around 11:45am, and met up with Jenny at Hungry Bear Restaurant. She had just bought a lobster mac & cheese bread bowl and a Haunted Mansion Holiday inspired krispie. We then met up with Mr. DAPs and Caitie at Market House Starbucks. As we headed there, Jeff met up with us.
After taking some fun photos at the Christmas Tree, we made our way towards Coke Corner to see the Dapper Dans. Their holiday set is performed at around 1:30pm. One of my favorite songs they perform is ‘It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas,’ which is sung in English, Spanish, and Japanese. It’s quite fun how they intertwine the song with stories and Christmas card greetings from the various countries.
Around 2pm, we decided to make our way to Disney California Adventure. On the way, we saw the Dickens Yuletide Band performing near the flag pole in Town Square. After we saw their set, we made our way to Sonoma Terrace. We sat there for awhile, and even got to see ‘Mickey’s Happy Holidays’ march by.
After sitting at Sonoma Terrace for awhile, we made our way to the Palisades Stage. The Sound was performing there, and we enjoyed a few of their songs.
We went to Smokejumpers Grill for dinner. I got the Loaded Latkes and Campfire Chili. The Loaded Latkes consist of crispy potato cakes with tender beef brisket topped with a horseradish cream sauce, and sliced green onions. They’re $7.49 plus tax, discounts apply. This dish is currently available for Festival of Holidays.
After dinner, we headed to the Animation Building for a few minutes. From there, we made our way to Cars Land. It’s always fun to see this land decorated for the holidays.
After some time at Disney California Adventure, we made our way back to Disneyland. We took a walk through Galaxy’s Edge, we headed to ‘it’s a small world’ holiday.
After some time at ‘it’s a small world’ holiday, it was just about time to make our way home. We took some photos from the steps of Main Street Train Station looking towards Town Square and the Christmas Tree. This is such a nice, yet simple view of Christmas at Disneyland.
Thank you for joining me on our adventures around the Disneyland Resort! More fun is coming next week, and I can’t wait to share them yet again! See you next week!
