Welcome to the DISNEY Reporter! This week is an exciting week for Disney and geek news! Things start out with the opening of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at the Walt Disney World Resort. This new attraction allows guests to be immersed in the midst of Star Wars like never before. That isn’t the only news coming out of Walt Disney World this week though. Epcot is getting several new and returning attractions on January 17th! The opening date of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway was also announced for Disney’s Hollywood Studios this week! On top of all of that, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will be arriving at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2021.
Over on the West Coast, Frozen: The Hit Broadway Musical is now playing at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood. DAPS MAGIC has a review up for this musical up on the website now. At Disneyland, new droids have arrived to help the citizens of Batuu sell beverages.
Finally, two new trailers were released by The Walt Disney Company this week. Marvel Studios released a trailer for Black Widow and the Walt Disney Studios released a trailer for Mulan.
