Disneyland Resort Announces Mickey’s Happy Holidays and More Entertainment for Festival of Holidays

The Disneyland Resort will begin its holiday celebration this weekend. One of the highlights of holidays at the Disneyland Resort is the annual Festival of Holidays celebration. Each year there are a variety of holiday celebrations that include entertainment, food, beverages, and merchandise. This year, there will be a new entertainment offering coming to Disney California Adventure.

Mickey’s Happy Holidays will be presented twice daily at Disney California Adventure. This holiday celebration will include both Disney and Pixar characters with energetic music as guests can dance along with Mickey and the gang. They will be joined by the Holiday Toy Drummers in front of the Paradise Gardens Park Obelisk and Carthay Circle. Catch them and sing and dance along!

Mickey’s Happy Holidays isn’t the only entertainment coming to Disney California Adventure for Festival of Holidays though! The Holiday Sunset Concerts will be returning this year. Phat Cat Swinger will also be returning for these festive evenings of music. This year, The Suffragettes will also be performing at the Holiday Sunset Concerts on select nights.

There will be other entertaining groups celebrating the season as well throughout the park. They include:

  • Blue13 Dance Company’s tribute to Diwali with traditional Indian folk dances and Bollywood.
  • Mostly Kosher celebrates Hanukkah during a concert with Klezmer, Jazz and Rock & Roll.
  • The Sound celebrates Christmas and Kwanzaa with their a cappella performances.
  • The Mariachi Divas celebrate Navidad with their spirited performances.
  • Holiday Toy Drummers return to bright their antics to Christmas.
  • Disney ¡Viva Navidad! with The Three Caballeros Returns with their energetic cultural celebration of the season.

On top of all of these incredible live entertainers, Santa and his elves will be returning to meet with guests at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.
