So What Did You Think?

What did you think of this look at Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker? There were definitely some intriguing moments in it. Admittedly, I have just watched it once and these are the first thoughts to come to mind. It looks like there will be some epic battles that are worthy of Star Wars. It also appears that there will be some twists and turns throughout the film, especially in regards to Rey. One has to wonder what is going on with the final scene with her wearing dark robes and flipping open a new version of a lightsaber similar to that of Darth Maul. Has she turned to the dark side? Is it a Force dream similar to The Empire Strikes Back?

Another thing we’ll probably be talking about for the next few months is C-3P0’s red eyes. Is this a secret “kill mode” or something? What do you think about this one? This trailer definitely has opened a whole new can of questions. It also will be interesting to see where the clips fit into the final order of the story. It seemed like it was definitely jumping back and forth but that is just a guess on my part. I’d love to hear your thoughts! What did you think of this special look? Will Rey turn to the dark side? Does C-3P0 end up being a servant of Palpatine or does he have a new kill mode? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

All in all, it will be incredibly interesting to see where this film takes these characters, and also this franchise. It will be wrapping up a story that has continued to be told for over four decades! I have to think there will be some sort of resolution.
