Avengers: Endgame Passes Avatar as Highest-Grossing Film of All Time

San Diego Comic-Con has been a major spot for news! As Marvel fans have shown up in high numbers at the convention, they have been finding lots of fun new things about the super studio. Today, in a panel, Kevin Feige announced that by the end of tomorrow, Avengers: Endgame will have officially passed the $2.7897 billion mark to officially pass “Avatar” as the highest-grossing film of all time!

This has been an event among movie fans everywhere. When Endgame beat Titanic‘s record in only 10 days, the race was on to see if it could become the number one film. Marvel fans were concerned that it would just barely miss the mark, but the film was re-released in theaters with new footage just last month.

This incredible feat comes just 10 days before the film will be released into fans homes on digital. Fans can experience all the heartbreak, excitement, and love that Avengers: Endgame brought into the world. Today also kicked off the “We Love You 3000 Tour.” Marvel stars will tour nine cities around the country, ending at D23 Expo in Anaheim next month! We can’t wait to see all the fun that this tour will bring, especially now that the film has passed this major milestone.
