John Williams’ Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Symphonic Suite Released

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens later this month at the Disneyland Resort and at the end of the summer at the Walt Disney World Resort. As the opening for this new land gets closer at both resorts, more is coming out about it. One of the things that came out this week is the new score for the land by John Williams.

The score, composed specifically for this land, is some of the original music that is being composed for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Listen to it below and then share what you think of it. You can listen to it on all major music streaming services.


So what do you think?

I really like how this suite sounds. It feels like Star Wars yet doesn’t lift directly from pre-existing themes. It does seem to nod as some themes of the past though. It has energy, it has a bit of mystery, and it definitely gets me excited thinking about visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on May 31st! Share your thoughts on this music in the comments below!
