An exact date for the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has not been revealed yet. All that is known is that it should open in the summer of 2019 at the Disneyland Resort and later in the year at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort. Guests visiting will be immersed in the world of Star Wars as they walk into Black Spire Outpost. Once inside, they will be able to take the controls of the galaxy’s most famous ship in Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. On Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance they will get to fight in a battle between the First Order and the Resistance, even facing off against Kylo Ren! There will also be able to stop by the local Cantina for some blue milk and other treats or go shopping at some of the local markets in the shop. All this will happen to the music of legendary Star Wars soundtrack composer John Williams.
