On Sunday, March 31st, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! will be opening at Hong Kong Disneyland. This week a media preview was held ahead of the opening of this new attraction.
There was quite an awesome lineup from Marvel for the event. This included Paul Rudd, who plays Ant-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe; Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios; Joe Quesada, Chief Creative Officer of Marvel Entertainment; Peyton Reed, director of Ant-Man and its sequel Ant-Man and The Wasp; Stephen Broussard, producer of Ant-Man and The Wasp; and well-known Hong Kong actress Jessica Hsuan who plays the Hong Kong Marvel character Leslie Lam, the Chief Engineer of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Science & Technology Pavilion.
In Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! guests will shrink down to the size of ants to help Ant-Man and the Wasp fight against the artificial intelligence Arnim Zola and the Hydra Swarmbot army. The attraction will introduce Marvel fans to the character Leslie Lam, who is unique to Hong Kong Disneyland. Throughout the attraction, guests will get commentary from both Ant-Man and also The Wasp. Expect to hear some Marvel Cinematic Universes and see some Easter eggs throughout the attraction.
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! is a part of a substantial expansion happening at Hong Kong Disneyland. This includes new experiences from the realms of Frozen, Marvel, and the Disney Princesses. It also includes a refurbished castle that is currently being worked on in the park. There will be also another Marvel attraction in the parks once all is finished.
