On Sunday, DJ’s Dance ‘N Drive took one last Sunday drive in Cars Land before saying goodbye to Disney California Adventure. The show had DJ arriving along Route 66 in Radiator Springs for a dance party before hitting the road again. He was joined by some of the staff at Flo’s V8 Cafe during this brief music/dance break, along with young Cars Land visitors.
The show first debuted with the opening of Cars Land in 2012. It has continued since then, with some variations throughout the years. It included popular songs that the waitresses from Flo’s would dance to and teach choreography to young guests.
The Disneyland Resort hasn’t officially confirmed that this show is gone for good saying that any show could return at any time. Currently, though, there are no plans to replace this show.
“At the Disneyland Resort, we continually refine and adjust our creative entertainment offerings while still preserving the guest experience,” a Disneyland official said in a prepared statement. “Disney California Adventure continues to have an abundance of live entertainment options across the resort.”
On a regular basis, other live entertainment can be found throughout the Disneyland Resort. In Disney California Adventure, guests can experience Five & Dime, the Red Car Trolley News Boys Show, and the Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off!, and Pixarmonic Orchestra shows throughout any given day. There are other entertainment groups to be found as well both at Disney California Adventure and also Disneyland.
