Make the Holidays Magical for Families this Season with Toys For Tots at Downtown Disney District on December 8

The spirit of the Christmas season is all about magic. Sometimes, that means making magic for others that couldn’t do it on their own. This weekend, Disneyland Resort is giving you a chance to make magic happen for other families!

This Saturday, December 8, bring a new, unwrapped toy valued at $10 or more with you to the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort! US Marines will be on hand to help the donations make their way to Toys for Tots, a program that makes sure less fortunate children have a Christmas of their own. From 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., head to the Downtown Disney District LIVE! stage and make your donation.

Fun Fact: Disney is a founding sponsor of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots program. Since then, Disneyland Resort guests and cast members have donated more than 100,000 toys to Toys for Tots!

Help Disney make that number even larger with this holiday season with a donation of your own! Need a toy to donate? Downtown Disney District will offer a “pop-up shop” of toys for purchase from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. Every toy will help make the season brighter for less fortunate children in Orange County, California.

Will you be making the holidays magical for less fortunate families this year? We hope to see you there!
