The Disneyland Resort has begun its annual Toys for Tots Drive. This annual tradition brings joy to children in underserved communities during the holidays. This year Disney is joined by Neil Patrick Harris to bring holiday magic to these kids.
From now through December 13, 2020 you can donate toys at shopDisney.com/ToysForTots or bring new unwrapped toys to the Disneyland Resort at the World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District, Disney Stores, or Walt Disney World Resort at the World of Disney in Disney Springs. Disney will also donate an additional $1 to Toys for Tots.
From November 1, 2020 through December 24, 2020 you can also support Toys for Tots by purchasing a Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Gingerbread pin. For each pin purchased at a U.S. Disney Store or shopDisney.com, Disney will donate $1 to Toys for Tots (toysfortots.org).
The tradition of Disney supporting the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves’ Toys for Tots program goes all the way back to Walt Disney. Disney personally oversaw the creation of the logo for Toys for Tots. He was also a founding sponsor for the program when it first came into being in 1947. Today, Disney and more specifically the Disneyland Resort continues to carry on the tradition of supporting Toys for Tots proudly.
