Experience a Very Walt Disney World Birthday with Day Seven of the DAPs Vlog and Many Special Friends

Another fun day of vacation is in the books! We spent Saturday at Magic Kingdom and Epcot celebrating my birthday! While there were definitely a few times I was embarrassed to have the attention on me, I was grateful that I got to spend the day with so many amazing friends!

We kicked off the morning at Magic Kingdom and a trip around the world on “It’s a Small World”. This is one of my absolute favorite attractions and I was so excited to be able to kick off the day with a FastPass+. The part that always makes it worth it for me in Walt Disney World is the fact that the attraction reads MagicBands and will say goodbye to guests by name as they head back into the parks!

We spent our lunch with reservations at Skipper Canteen, one of our favorite dining experiences around. Not only is the atmosphere amazing, as you dine in skipper mess halls with former skippers are servers, but the food is unlike anything you can find anywhere else in the resort. We had a variety of food at our table and still found ourselves sharing food around to get a taste of everything. It is always top quality!

We got into Epcot just in time to see an absolutely beautiful sunset. After that, we spent the night doing one of my favorite things, wandering. We had gathered a few friends along the way, and I wouldn’t have traded it for the world.

One of the most exciting parts of the nights was finally getting to meet my good friend Nikki! Nikki runs Damsel Designed, a shop I’ve been following for quite a while! I have always been impressed with Nikki’s sincerity, but it was amazing to experience her kindness first hand. She even had sent a skirt with one of our friends as a birthday gift to me. She was such a wonderful addition to our night and I’m so glad we could spend part of the day with her!

We finished off our night with one last viewing of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth and a walk around a fairly empty Epcot. This allowed for some amazing pictures and allowed an amazing opportunity to say “see ya real soon” to one of our favorite parks.

So what do you think about our adventures? What was your favorite part? Let us know!
