Lucasfilm and Disney has teased a full trailer of the upcoming Solo with a Super Bowl TV spot.
The 45 second commercial aired during the first quarter of the Super Bowl and gave fans a first look at the Han Solo movie. It’s still not clear how much history of the iconic character we’ll see in the film, but there’s at least a little bit on his time in the Imperial academy.
We see Lando Calrissian, an Imperial officer, and Woody Harrelson’s character before we get a look at the face of Solo. Chewbacca does appear at the end of the teaser with the signature Star Wars theme.
It’s interesting that we are seeing this beginning of Solo. Yes, it’s been known that we’d see his friendship with Lando and the origin of his partnership with Chewie. But, to see some of his Imperial time will be very intriguing.
