On Monday January 2nd, guests will get a final chance to drop into the Twilight Zone as the Tower of Terror ends its stay at the Disneyland Resort. For the last few months guests have been getting a chance to get to say goodbye to the iconic attraction in Disney California Adventure. In the evenings after dark, the lights have been turned off in the attraction for “Late Check-Out” and the Silver Lake Sisters have also entertained those waiting in line.
For the final public trips into the Twilight Zone, Disney California Adventure will remain open until 8:00 PM on January 2nd. A radio promotion will offer after-hour opportunities to ride along with offering a goodbye party.
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror will be replaced with Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout this summer. It has already been making the transition as the letters were removed earlier this fall and the attraction has been covered in scaffolding for several months.
Guests visiting Disney California Adventure should bring their patience for the final drop of the Tower of Terror. It can be expected that there will be long lines.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will arrive in theaters on May 5, 2017. Are you excited for this new movie and new version of this attraction?
