Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’ – In Concert Live to Film to be Presented at the Hollywood Bowl

Are you a fan of Disney’s The Little Mermaid? On Wednesday, Billboard reported that the fun and memorable music from the film will be brought to life at the Hollywood Bowl this coming June.

On June 4, watch as a live 71-piece orchestra performs the classic tunes alongside well known talents. Voicing Ariel is that of Grammy nominated artist, Sara Bareilles. Even more so, Ursula will be voiced by actress Rebel Wilson.

Alan Menken was quoted saying, “It is such an unbelievable abundance of riches to have my score for The Little Mermaid performed by a live orchestra, with incredible guest artists at the Hollywood Bowl…From the animated film to our Broadway production to events like this one, it is just incredible to realize the emotional investment people continue to have with this musical.”

The event will include a firework show, costume contest and so much more, according to Oh My Disney. Tickets for the event will go one sale at 10 a.m. on April 9, via the Ticket Master website.
