With the recent advancement of Disney Movies Anywhere, the Disney film app will now be available to Amazon and Microsoft customers, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The app that lets audiences keep their favorite films saved in one place will now work with Amazon Video and Microsoft Movies & TV. Already having been compatible with Apple and Android devices, this new update now works on features including Amazon devices, Fire tablets, Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, and Microsoft’s Xbox 360.
Janice Marinelli, president of home entertainment and distribution for Disney, said in a statement, “We’re thrilled to bring these new partners to Disney Movies Anywhere, expanding its reach into the living room and beyond with an unprecedented Disney experience that is both easy and fun.”
In addition, on September 15, Disney Movies Anywhere will also be made available on Roku and Android TV devices.
