James Bond SPECTRE Trailer
A new trailer for SPECTRE, the 24th James Bond adventure, has been released today. A cryptic message from the past sends James Bond on a rogue mission to Mexico City and eventually Rome, where he meets Lucia Sciarra (Monica Bellucci), the beautiful and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal. Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organisation known as SPECTRE.
Meanwhile back in London, Max Denbigh (Andrew Scott), the new head of the Centre for National Security, questions Bond’s actions and challenges the relevance of MI6, led by M (Ralph Fiennes). Bond covertly enlists Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) and Q (Ben Whishaw) to help him seek out Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux), the daughter of his old nemesis Mr White (Jesper Christensen), who may hold the clue to untangling the web of SPECTRE. As the daughter of an assassin, she understands Bond in a way most others cannot.
As Bond ventures towards the heart of SPECTRE, he learns of a chilling connection between himself and the enemy he seeks, played by Christoph Waltz.
Released in the UK on October 26, and in the US on November 6, 2015.
So what do you think?
I’m personally liking that this James Bond flick is going in a different direction than the last couple of movies. It definitely has a modern feel that at the same time is utilizing elements of the past. I am predicting it will be a good combination of old and new.
I’m really curious to see who exactly the villain ends up being in the grand scheme of things. We’ve heard that it isn’t Blofeld but… I still have that question in the back of my brain wondering if maybe Blofeld IS the villain. Sure, he isn’t bald… and there is no cat but… wow, Christopher Waltz’s character should could be a reimagining of that infamous Bond villain. Historically Blofeld is the leader of SPECTRE (Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion). Officially though, Walt’s character is named Franz Oberhauser.
Lastly, I’m really liking the connection with other Daniel Craig James Bond movies that look to be developing in this movie. I like the continuity that appears to be going on.
Whatever does end up happening, this looks like it will be a very enjoyable movie once it hits theaters in November. I can’t wait to see it! How about you?
Make it a GREAT day!
