Things just keep getting bigger and better with Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season two lineup. Between the continually growing cast of characters coming to the show and the thought that “it’s all connected,” there is going to be a lot to look forward to this fall! The newest tidbit was released yesterday by the shows producers:
Adrianne Palicki will appear as Bobbi Morse, a.k.a. Mockingbird, in the second season of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”–but whether she’ll play friend or foe to Coulson and his team, we can’t say.
This is similar to several other character announcements over the course of this summer. New character but can’t say if they are helpful or harmful. Perhaps they are a bit of both. I would like to think that Agent Ward is going to come around and end up being a good guy but who knows if this will also happen. It will also be interesting to see how things end up being connected with the Kree (who happened to show up in Guardians of the Galaxy) and then looking forward… how do things connect with The Avengers: Age of Ultron?
That phrase “it’s all connected” may become the three words that haunt Marvel fans this year as we try to make connections that may or may not be there throughout the second season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter (which we still don’t not a TON about).
Palicki joins a number of new characters and guest stars on the series’ second season, which premieres Tuesday, September 23 at 9:00 p.m. ET on ABC. Joining Palicki will be the previously announced Lucy Lawless (Agent Isabelle Hartley), Reed Diamond (Daniel Whitehall), Nick Blood (Lance Hunter), Henry Simmons (Alphonso “Mack” Mackenzie), and Kyle MacLachlan (Skye’s father), alongside the returning cast of Clark Gregg (Director Coulson), Ming-Na Wen (Agent May), Brett Dalton (Grant Ward), Elizabeth Henstridge (Agent Simmons), Iain De Caestecker (Agent Fitz), and Chloe Bennet (Agent Skye).
What do you think about this newest casting announcement?
Make it a GREAT day!
