Today marks the first day of “Legends of Frontierland: Gold Rush” at Disneyland Park. This new interactive experience will allow guests to create a story and decided what side they are on: Frontierland or Rainbow Ridge.
Here are some tips from Disney Parks Blog if you would like to participate in this activity.
The first thing to do is create a character for yourself. You can be a peacekeeper, outlaw, a miner or whoever you would like to be in Frontierland. Also, think of a new name that you would like for your character.
Next, decide if you are to be on the Frontierland citizen side or the Rainbow Ridge townsfolk side. With gold on the land, disputes between the sides are a sure struggle.
After, explore the area and the new locations located throughout the land. Each section will add something new to your story. The areas are as followed;
Trading Post – This is the meeting place and first stop for new Frontierland citizens. This is also where citizens can keep up with the latest Frontierland news and swap plans for fending off those Rainbow Ridge ruffians.
Hideout – Like the Trading Post, the Hideout is the first stop and central meeting place for citizens of Rainbow Ridge.
Telegraph Station – The information hub of Frontierland, this is the place to send and receive important messages.
Sheriff’s Office and Jail – This is where outlaws are brought to justice and where lawmakers work to keep the peace.
Talent Agency – Based in the Golden Horseshoe, this is where new talent is discovered and showcased in Frontierland.
Card Table – Also located in the Golden Horseshoe, this ongoing card game plays host to outlaws and heroes alike. Be careful what you say here! You never know who may be listening.
Soon you will want to interact with citizens of the land. Those that have the same town color as you will let you know what is new.
If you would like to earn “bits” (Frontierland currency), partaking in tasks in the land will increase your wealth and can be placed towards other purchases or information.
Lastly, have fun!
