Kurt Russell and Blair Underwood Narrate Disneyland’s Candlelight Ceremony

Candlelight Ceremony – Silent Night

Guests visiting Disneyland this last weekend were treated to the story of Christmas being told by a nearly 600 voice choir, orchestra, handbells, and celebrity narrators. This year, the narrators were Blair Underwood (Saturday) and Kurt Russell (Sunday). The performances happened on both Saturday and Sunday nights at 5:30 and 8:00 PM in a tradition that has been going on at the Disneyland Resort since 1958.

Both Blair Underwood and Kurt Russell did a fantastic job and were well received by those in attendance. Kurt Russell seemed to enjoy watching the sign language interpreter during the songs. Both narrators could be seen enjoying the performances.
