New Frozen Theatrical Trailer Shows Frozen World of Arendelle

This morning the Frozen theatrical trailer was released on Yahoo! Movies. The trailer offers a glimpse at Arendelle before it was frozen. It also begins to introduce more of the characters that will be found in the newest Disney animated feature.

So what do you think?

I personally find myself getting more and more interested in this movie. I guess that means the marketing team is doing their job. I won’t say I’m outright geeking out about Frozen yet but I definitely am intrigued.  It seems to be another modern day take on a classic fairytale. It has the feel of Tangled and there do seem to be some character similarities. As long as they aren’t direct clones, this could be ok.

I’m curious to hear more about Anna’s sister the Snow Queen. In fact, I’m more curious to see how her story ends than I am to see how Anna’s. Clearly there is going to be a bit of confusion with which guy Anna is falling for and while this could be cute, it seems like that is what always happens to Kristen Bell so… it just isn’t drawing me in. But perhaps one of the guys will end up falling for Elsa the Snow Queen and everyone will get their happy ending?

Frozen does look like it could be a heartwarming film though that belongs in the Disney library of animated films. This is just the first Frozen Theatrical Trailer and more will be on the way. Oh, I’m also looking forward to hearing the music behind this movie as it has a fantastic team.

Frozen will be in theaters on November 27, 2013.
