It may be Mickey Mouse in nature, but it's a contest Calgary families want to win.
The Sun begins game play tomorrow in the Year of a Million Dreams, a contest which will see three families win Disneyland Resort Dream Vacations for four people in California — worth $2,500.
A Disneyland game board will be in the Sunday edition and puzzle pieces will be found in the newspaper Monday through Saturday.
On the game board, Calgarians are asked to nominate a deserving family who best illustrates community spirit, said Sun marketing guru Taryn Bolder.
The deadline for Week 1 entries is May 20. A second and final week of the contest begins Sunday, May 13.
Two game cards — one from each week's batch of entries — will be drawn at random, and the families nominated on those boards will win the trips.
A third family — a nominee from the two weeks of entries — will also be drawn at random.
