Continuing its "Where Dreams Come True" initiative, the Walt Disney Co. will be rolling out new features and attractions at its theme parks worldwide in the coming year.
Among some of the new features at various theme parks:
The Cinderella Castle Suite at Walt Disney World, where a randomly chosen guest and family will be able to spend the night at a new royal bedroom suite inside the iconic castle at the resort's Magic Kingdom. The Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage at Disneyland, where guests will go on an underwater voyage based on the animated movie. The Animation Academy at Hong Kong Disneyland, where guests will be able to work inside the Disney animation studio. The Cars Quatre Roues Rallye at Disneyland Paris, where guests take a spin on a racecourse inspired by the Disney-Pixar film "Cars."
In addition, Disney's cruise line will have a European offering, starting from Barcelona and serving eight ports of call along the Mediterranean, including stops near Rome, Florence, Pisa, Marseilles and Cannes.
The "Where Dreams Come True" initiative was rolled out in October 2006 to fully integrate and encompass Disney's (NYSE:DIS – News) entire worldwide portfolio of parks and resorts.
