Welcome to Geeks Corner. I'm Mr. Daps. I'm Katie. and we're so excited that you're here on the first Tuesday after
0:33
Chalkwalk 2025. That is so true. That's true. Very true. Uh what should people do,
0:39
Katie? Uh you should subscribe to here
0:44
is the first thing you should do. Yeah. And then you should subscribe to Patreon at patreon.commagic
0:50
because we are no longer doing a pre-show to this show. We are now be doing a post show to this show.
0:56
What is it called? Daps After Dark. It is called Daps After Dark. Maybe
1:01
it'll even show Daps After Dark. Who knows? There it is. There it is. That is our new Patreon
1:08
exclusive show. It starts a few minutes after this one ends over on patreon.comdapsmagic.
1:14
What does the chat say? Just cuz I'm worried because we haven't done any tests. I don't know. It'll be fine. Just keep going. What else? Um, and then you
1:22
should uh go into the chat and you should tell us how great we sound and how excited you are for Adapts After
1:28
Dark. And also comments for the show and yeah, that's that's what I meant.
1:35
Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Comments, comments, put your comments in and at the end of the show, we will respond to them as
1:40
well. But now, let's see if we can talk about Thank you, Mr. Dad. Thanks, man. Apps.
1:46
Thank you, Mr. Dad. Thanks, man. All right, it is time to talk about
1:52
Muppets. This week, we had another surprising choice
1:57
for the Muppet. Who was it this week? Of the week. Um, well, he's appeared in
2:03
a few things, but it's it's not a Sorry, I meant like literally. Who was it? It was a pig. Um
2:10
Oh, that's right. Yeah. Like he's been in things before. I
2:15
think he actually came first from um maybe Muppet Treasure Island.
2:22
I could be wrong. Um are you looking him up? Yes. Uh anyway, he's been in Muppet Treasure Island. I think he was on
2:28
Howard Tubman. Muppets ABC if I recall. And maybe
2:33
Muppets Tonight. I don't know. It's been a few. Tubman
2:38
is a member of America's oldest and fattest family. The tub is a porkith. Oh, there we go. Um
2:45
He was featured with his butler Carter in the recurring sketches the Tubman's Porksmith and Bors Head revisited on
2:52
Muppets Night. Okay, so I was close. Yeah. He's also in a very very merry
2:58
Muppet Christmas movie. Oh, that's exciting. He's uh makes a cameo in Muppets Most Wanted.
3:04
Okay. Um, he had his first speaking role since 2002 in the Muppets episode, Because
3:11
Love. Uh, Muppet Snow White number four.
3:17
Uh, all right. Well, who do you think is going to be the Muppet this week? Oh, and he's mentioned Muppets Meet the Classics, The Phantom of the Opera. I
3:23
don't even know what that is. There you go. Um, I'm I'm kind of over it. Who do I think this week?
3:28
Mainly because I kind of want them to do more popular. Like I get you're getting your niche, but
3:34
there's enough popular Muppets to do 70 popular Muppets in my opinion.
3:40
I agree. Like anyway, who would you like to see? Um I'm going to say
3:45
um Gloria Stefon, my old faithful. Oh, going back to that. And I'm sticking with Boba Bear because someday they're
3:52
going to have to do Bubba the Bear. But now I feel like this week they're going to do something even like more central. Gloria Stefan. Well, no, that's
3:59
not I mean central like I'm saying we had three weird weeks in a row. Why not make it four?
4:04
You never know because Bobo's kind of in the middle, I feel like. Correct. All right. Well, let us know who you
4:10
think is going to be. I might see a comment right there. Uh the Muppet of
4:21
there you go. Uh anyway, we will we will discuss this more at DAPS after dark
4:27
apparently. All right, this week was one of the best events of the at the
4:33
Disneyland Resort and that was the chalkwalk in the park. We got to the park at about 3:30 well parking lot at
4:40
about 3:30 in the morning so that we could uh be ready to actually we were
4:45
there at 3:15. We were there at 3:15 cuz they're Yeah. Anyway, 3:15. We were in line at the
4:52
main gate by about 4 and things got started at 5:15 and then we were done
4:58
walking by like 7. It was very like they they condensed the opening part a little
5:04
bit like they moved up when the opening ceremony started by a half an hour and it was amazing. One, how much of a
5:11
difference it made for the feel of the morning because you weren't as exhausted. Two, it didn't get as warm.
5:17
Correct. it it had you done before things really got warm. Um
5:22
but uh we got to walk through the parks. There was a bunch of characters. Uh the big I think the big thing was the big
5:28
balloon. Like I thought that was so super cool. My favorite was obviously none of us saw this coming and so there was this reveal
5:35
once you got towards the end of Main Street. Everyone would go which was funny because uh I had texted
5:41
a few of you a picture of it. I just don't think it went through. I never got it. Yeah. So, I I texted it, but you know,
5:48
technology, whatever. Um because they were uh heating it up, too. So, it' be
5:54
like you'd see the fire going up inside of it. Um my favorite was randomly um
6:00
during the like warm-up part with DJ Wendy DJing and then um all of like the
6:08
speeches of the morning and stuff, the fire would randomly like and it would be like a nice like
6:13
Yeah. And you could tell it was needed because you could see the balloon like getting a little bit
6:19
I don't know, you could see it not being as inflated as much and you're like, "Oh." And then when they would turn the
6:24
the heater on or the flame or whatever, you could see it literally inflate, which was super cool. Um anyway, it was
6:31
a good it was a good morning. Uh you can still donate if you would like to. Like we can still donate for like a month
6:37
after, so through the month. And um you can do that at chalkwalk.org/dap. org/dapsmagic
6:44
if that shows up. There we go. And um and you can support our fundraising efforts because we'd love it to get to
6:50
5,000 if we can. We're at 3,000 right now. We're at 3,000. So if if anybody wants to help support
6:55
that would be fantastic and uh it helps all of those kids that have to go to Chuck
7:02
because that's never like it's as fun as it can be going to a hospital there. I feel like um and as
7:09
uh Y who was a first time walker this year, she was like honestly no family wants to
7:17
go to chalk. Like no family is like let's pack our bags. We're going to chalk. Like they would rather their kids
7:24
be healthy. And um it's so evident when you do the chalk
7:30
walk. like people show up in droves because Chuck helped them at their
7:36
lowest and that is just something really really special and that's a really nice
7:41
thing that we get to be a part of for making a difference. Absolutely. All right, we are going to keep moving right along and uh we got
7:50
information today about the Beacon Barrel which is opening on August 29th.
7:56
reservations open on the 14th of August and uh so we got the full menu with the
8:02
prices. The prices really didn't shock me that much. It was all kind of themed
8:07
stuff. Yeah. Um like interesting enough, like I think the
8:14
beer ranged from 10:25 to 1225. Is that on par with Florida typically
8:19
though? I don't know. I'm thinking of it from here. Like to me it seemed reasonable enough for a sit down.
8:26
Uh I'm bringing up the article so that I can reference in real time the prices.
8:31
Yeah. Like there's some good stuff in there. Um the thing I would like to talk about though, you can look at the prices is
8:38
Well, there's one that I want to talk about. I would like to talk about the Krakens Catch. That's exactly the one I wanted to talk
8:43
about. So, the Kraken's Catch is is kind of their take on a um
8:50
I don't even know what to call it. They call it a salad, I think. Um it says I can read the description.
8:57
Please do. Octopus tentacles marinated in lemon and lime juice with olives, bell peppers,
9:03
avocado, and picio pepper almond foam.
9:09
Okay, so here's my first question. Fork, spoon,
9:17
I think. Fork. But like the foam stuff looks almost like you need a spoon for it.
9:22
Yeah. Then this like the picture's beautiful. I think
9:30
would I eat it? I'm not sure. Looking at it, when I saw that this morning, I immediately felt ill.
9:38
It It was It's a choice. And this, mind you, because this is why I brought it up.
9:43
$18. That little glass full of of olives.
9:48
Well, you're buying what you're paying for is the octopus. I know. Um,
9:54
I can't imagine you trying this. Oh, no. No. I can't imagine me trying this.
10:00
Like, say we got to $5,000 for um before the end of the month for chalk. I could
10:06
imagine being like, "Hey, if we hit 5,000, I'm going to try this." You if we hit 5,000, I would try it.
10:12
Okay, so there we go. There it is. Um, but I don't I don't know if it was just
10:19
for the heck of it if I would try it. Um, but the prices seemed about kind of what you expect for like they kind of
10:25
remind me like $19. Yeah. And the drinks range in that. And
10:31
for a handcrafted cocktail at a Disney park, that's about on par. Um, I will
10:38
say these kind of feel like Are they handcrafted? I don't know cuz I I with how small the menu is, I
10:45
was like this could be I was saying for being handcrafted
10:52
that would be a normal price if they are or is it the model? Who knows? So,
10:59
um, some of these drinks kind of just feel Trader Sam's. Why don't you read some of the names of
11:05
them? Sure. Because I do like the names. Okay. Start with the non-alcoholic. Okay. Non-alcoholic. Yeah. Going up.
11:12
Going up. Going up. Cursed Treasure. Nice. Which is like coconut milk and cookie
11:17
crumbs. I wish it came with the coin. Yeah. Uh,
11:23
topped with vanilla foam and pirates gold. So maybe you do get it. I think you do get it. Unless it's unless it's like a chocolate
11:30
pirates gold or something. Treasure trove, which is ube lemon coconut
11:35
with a vanilla cake plank. Mhm. Kind of silly. And that is it for any specialty
11:42
beverages. Mhm. All right. Signature cocktails. First, it's the Siren's Whisper,
11:48
which is um rum, blue curisso, creme to peach,
11:54
lime, and cinnamon. I would absolutely have it. Um I also love looks safe. It's also It's called the Siren's
12:00
Whisper. Yeah, it looks safe. It looks Starbucks model is um or Starbucks logo
12:06
is a siren. There you go. All right. Port of call. It's gin port, lemon
12:12
juice, cranberry. Sounds like a whole lot of flavor. I would do that one. All right, next.
12:19
I The port with the lemon with the cranberry. Um, lit fuse.
12:24
Uh, Mezcow, creme to banana, coconut water, lime juice, and chili bitters.
12:30
Okay, sure. I would try it, but it wouldn't be one I would be gravitating. You would love the creme to banana, I
12:36
don't think. No, it sounds too sweet to me. Barrels ablaze. This one sounds like you. It is uh bourbon, honey, lemon, and
12:45
chili. I have a hard time buying that though for $19. For $19, correct? Yeah.
12:50
Also, all right, next one. They've all been $19 except for lip fuse, which is $1850. The habiscus, rum
12:57
punch royale. It's rum, habiscus,
13:02
uh, lime, memor, and procco. Probably good on day.
13:07
Probably good. This is the best one. That one was 19 also. Yes. The salty seas margarita.
13:15
Like was that your pirate? It's really hard to do that in the middle of a word. Would you like to try? Okay, go for it.
13:20
Mar. See, it's Anyway, it is tequila, contro, ube, and lime, which I love. Ube
13:28
20 bucks. Like, that seems reasonable. And then if you're feeling really daring, there's the plunderer's punch
13:36
for $46. It is in a souvenir pirate skull mug.
13:42
Awesome. And it is rum, blackberry, lime, and vanilla. Yeah. And then the wine ranges from 14
13:50
to $17 a glass. I was wrong about the beer. It's 11.50 and 1350 unless you get
13:56
it canned or bottled. And it's 1025 to 1225. And um they have some other stuff
14:03
that's on the menu, too. But uh overall it's it doesn't seem quite as
14:11
I don't know. I was worried that it would be a little bit more than that like expensive. And um especially I
14:17
don't know. I just feel like prices keep going up and up. So I I'm a little bit I don't say I'm going to say I'm
14:23
pleasantly surprised with it, but I'm not unpleasantly surprised. Sure. Is that a fair way to say it?
14:30
Okay. All right. Um I'd love to try it out, though. I think that would be a lot of fun. Okay, we also this week got a
14:37
look at the rehearsal for uh Hercules, which is coming to Disney Destiny later
14:43
this year. And we actually got more than this. We got a look at the rehearsal for
14:48
Zero to Hero, which it's kind of an updated, more modern sound to it, but still has that gospel
14:54
Yes. um vibe that Hercules is known for. But we also got looks at puppets,
15:01
big puppets that are going to be the Titans. And um I think we got a concept art for
15:07
the Titans also. That looks pretty cool. What do you think of this show? And
15:14
is it enough to make me want to go on Disney Destiny? Because yes, it is.
15:19
Oh, I would never say that one singular entertainment offering would be enough for me to be like, "Oh, that that's it.
15:25
That's the reason I'm going to go do this." I don't know. We're in a really good rebirth of Hercules right now. And
15:31
between that one and the one in London, I'm like, I would like to go see both of these. Yeah. Because I think it's kind of like
15:37
Hercules and Hunchback of Notream I feel like have always kind of So the ones that are about 30
15:45
about 30 like like years old. Oh, yeah. They were the ones that came
15:50
after really big ones of 90s. But um but the bigger thing I mean with it is I
15:56
feel like those movies had tons of potential for musicals,
16:03
Broadway musical styles and never really got utilized. Like they just kind of like
16:10
they've tried just hasn't necessarily taken off in ways that some of the fans I feel like would hope. And so uh one
16:19
I'd just like to support any way I possibly can. to
16:24
the cruise ship and it's Disney so it's gonna be great. I was gonna say that's the thing is I just think that
16:31
Disney cruise line everything is such a spectacular caliber but yes I was already excited about
16:39
something like this like this Hercules musical but the fact that it's being put on by Disney Cruise Line it's like oh this is really really going
16:45
to be something amazing. Yeah. um like it it looks like it's going to be stellar like just from
16:53
everything we're seeing and then you hear everything that's good that's happening in London with Hercules and
16:59
that just I think amplifies everything because you know there has to be some level of
17:05
crossover from the Walt Disney Company of like oh this is working over here we
17:10
can pivot and use it over here and things like that. Um, but uh I think it looks awesome. I also
17:19
think because Disney Destiny is heroes and villains themed, you know what show I would love to see
17:26
on it and it would fit with and amazement. No. Oh, what?
17:32
Rogers the musical. Wouldn't it fit perfect? It would. Yes.
17:37
Like to me that is such a natural like it's heroes and villains. uh isn't Black Panther in the you know as you're
17:44
walking into the big uh whatever room is and um like why not?
17:51
So true. I think I think can you imagine watching Hercules one night and then Rogers the musical the
17:56
next night? I think Rogers the musical should come back in literally any fashion that somebody will put it up as at the Walt
18:03
Disney Company. So, please I would prefer at Disney California Adventure. I agree because
18:08
right on the edge of Avengers campus, we're perfectly fit. Hyperion is not doing anything right
18:13
now. So, if we could just get Rogers back, I think it should. That would be great.
18:18
That would be great. Um, but you could do that and then um I don't know. I feel like the the her
18:25
hunchback musical could end up somewhere on a cruise ship, too. Like, or you do something like anime. just do a I do
18:32
think musical medley shows work really well too like Disney music medley shows
18:37
and you could do something with that either on the cruise ship or
18:43
heck fantasy land theater again you know like there places you could go with this that would uh really
18:49
be conducive for things like that and we've already had Hunchback in Fantasy Land once so
18:54
why not a second time why not bring it back or bring a new one up because you do a tangled musical
19:00
there too. Or I'm trying to think of cuz I don't Frozen.
19:06
Yeah, Frozen's already been the other one, so that wouldn't make sense. Um Moana Moana could work.
19:11
Could work into Yep, could work. That actually would make a lot of sense. Um
19:17
Festival of Fools 2.0. Yes, I'm all for that.
19:23
They can do it right in the entrance of uh Galaxy's Edge. No.
19:30
Oh, what about the goats? Where the where will the goats go? I know that they're that's that's a
19:37
problem. I don't know. Okay, let's talk about Star Wars now. Huh? I've heard of Star Wars.
19:42
Okay, Star Wars in 2027, the original Star Wars will be making
19:49
its way back to the big screen. Yes. Why do we talk about this? It's two years away. Because Star Wars. because
19:58
they announced it this week. They did announce it this week. But the bigger deal, like we could talk about it later, it' be fine. Um,
20:05
my big thing is, the big question for me, yes.
20:10
Which version is it going to be? Is it an original? Is it
20:17
97? You know, I I think it was 97 when they when they re-released.
20:22
If I hear Minky, I will walk out. Is it like there's so many different
20:28
versions now? Which version are we going to see?
20:34
Just not McClunky, please. I literally I just saw the McClunky version for the first time like a couple months ago and
20:40
I was like, "Oh, oh no, don't like that." Um, I like, and
20:48
maybe this is a hot take. I am a quote unquote newer Star Wars fan. Um, I like when it is ambiguous who
20:57
shot first. Okay, that is
21:02
that is my opinion. I like when it is ambiguous. Um, because
21:11
it also doesn't matter who shot first.
21:16
It doesn't, but it does. The point of it is that Han is not to be
21:22
messed with. Yes. So whether you shot him or whether he thinks you're going to shoot him,
21:28
but yeah, I I like the thought that he shot first just because it creates a better redemption when he comes in at
21:34
the end of the movie and decides he's going to be a good guy. Like that I I think that's a better
21:40
because then you're going from mercenary to hero. And I think that's a solid um
21:46
I think that's a better story arc. And it surprises me that George Lucas would back off on that
21:53
cuz he is like he loves the traditional, you know, hero's journey blah blah blah.
21:58
The problem was George Lucas has listened to too much of what fans say
22:04
and um he was like, "Oh yeah, Han shot first
22:10
is a kind of fun thing." and like he's taken quite a few things and then just ran with it.
22:16
I wish we were going to get the original version. I don't think we will. I would like to see a remastered original
22:21
version. I would see that so many times in theaters. I know you would. That's what you That would be amazing.
22:28
Watching. Yeah. Um I would be all for that. It would be amazing. Uh we can hope, right?
22:34
We could hope. We can hope. We could a new but like wouldn't it also be cool like
22:41
this won't happen either is when Star Wars was first released a new hope was first released it just said Star Wars
22:47
like how cool would that be you know what I really hope I hope that they have a not a trailer like no
22:55
trailers I don't need trailers I I know what I'm here for I hope they play the last 15 minutes of Rogue One and then
23:07
Imagine if they played the last 15 minutes of Rogue One and they said, "Sit down, kids. You're going to watch Star
23:13
Wars: A New Hope. Let me tell you a tale." It's not a tale the Jedi would tell you.
23:20
H I'm just saying. I'm just saying. You want trailers from 77?
23:26
I would love That's where I thought you were going to go, honestly, was I like, "Oh, we could have trailers from 1977."
23:32
What if we had or stylized trailers from today that look like they're from 197 I was going to say what if we had like a
23:38
host of trailers for George Lucas's original movies like um American
23:45
Graffiti. We had a trailer for that. Um what's the one the robot one he did when he was like in college?
23:53
That one. Whatever it is. But anyway, all of George Lucas's movies that aren't Star Wars. We could watch
24:00
trailers for that. and then a trailer for Star Wars and then we start watching Star Wars.
24:05
Okay, why not? Like Star Wars 77. Yeah, watch a trailer for Oh, or you
24:12
could do um a trailer for um Empire Strikes Back in
24:19
mainly say it's coming like because that's when they announced that it's coming out for its 50th.
24:25
It would make sense. I imagine. All right, moving on to newer Star Wars news. In a couple of years, we're going
24:30
to see Matt Smith apparently as a villain in Star Wars Starf Fighter, the
24:36
uh the not next Star Wars movie, but the Star Wars movie that takes place after
24:43
The Rise of Skywalker about five years. So, it kind of is the next Star Wars movie, but also not because
24:52
Mando and Grou are next year earlier. So,
24:58
going into a new era, this is the new time really is a big ball of wibbly
25:03
wobbly timy wy stuff. It is very um like lowkey
25:09
making a Doctor Who reference. I know. And then I went to like there's lots of different places to go with this. So, what do you think first of
25:14
Matt Smith being cast as a villain and starter? I really like David Tenant as a villain. So, maybe I'll like Smith as a villain,
25:21
too. Yeah, I think like I like I think David I think David Tenant is one of Marvel's best villains.
25:28
Um, I will admit the moment I heard about this, my first thought was, "Oh,
25:34
so what's the new iteration of the Empire now because clearly if he's a British bad guy, he
25:41
has to either been the First Order or the Empire or like I was on I don't know.
25:48
I was on a Star Destroyer when the Emperor was defeated for the second time." And
25:53
yeah, here's my question, and we can expound on this more on the Patreon show if you'd like.
25:59
What if Oh, is the show already almost over? Um, fast. Wow. What if his character wears a
26:06
bow tie and what if he says something along the lines,
26:12
there's a blue box sitting in the corner? No. What if he something along the lines of bow ties are cool?
26:18
Mhm. How would you feel about that? I would not be a fan. Um,
26:25
don't let him cook, Clarky. Don't let him cook. No, but I do feel like we're going to
26:31
see the next iteration of whatever the First Order Empire thing,
26:36
Ren, whatever. It'll be like, oh, he was some lowly officer on the one star destroyer that
26:42
survived that big battle at the end of Skywalker. And Matt Smith would have been really good as that one guy in Andor. I can't think
26:49
of his name right now. I'm very sorry. the Oh, serial. Serial. Yeah. Yeah. A little bit old though.
26:55
Like a younger Matt Smith would have been But like they're in that same realm of
27:00
Mhm. You know, I do hope it's not a
27:08
repeat, I guess, of things that we've already kind of done. I agree. Like that would be a concern. Um, I mean
27:16
this is like I think they are hoping to make this kind of like a mandover thing but in a new era
27:23
and I think there's lots of possibilities with that but there's also lots of risks which I'm okay with that
27:28
because I think if you don't take the risks no reward agreed but I hope they take the risks like I
27:34
hope they go out there and they don't just be like oh you know we're doing this again like I don't want to do the
27:39
same thing over and over again. Yeah. Um and I think if they do something unique and
27:45
and clever. We could really be thankful for this. Agreed. I'm hoping at least.
27:52
All right. Should we move into comments? Comments. Are you sure? Comments. Comments. I was doing a bit.
28:00
Oh, a bit. You said comments. Nice. Comments.
28:13
Hopefully that worked better than it did for us. Uh that didn't work really well for us. Worked super well, but I didn't
28:19
even hear the comments thing, but I did see them typing kind of. So anyway, if you have comments you'd like us to
28:24
respond to, put them in the chat. We will talk about them in just a few
28:30
minutes or seconds as they pop up. But after the show tonight, we are going to be hopping on over to Patreon and
28:36
talking about more things during DAPS after dark, which is our new um Patreon
28:43
exclusive show. So, make sure to head on over there and uh catch us. And it'll probably go like a half an hour or
28:48
something like we'll see how long we go. We don't actually know. We don't actually know. This this it could go longer, it could go shorter. That's actually the really nice thing is
28:54
that we won't be up against there's there's no deadlines. Yeah. Yep. And there's no windows and no doors.
29:01
Exactly. Um, yeah. So, that's going to be a thing. I
29:07
will be making a signature beverage that I'll share about in Doubts After Dark. Um, I do I do enjoy a little
29:15
mixology. So, um, all right. First comment is thoughts on
29:22
the new Disney Halloween merch. There's lots of it and most of it surprisingly good.
29:27
Okay. I love it. I would not,
29:33
how do I say that on dabs? Uh, I would not be in a mob for it.
29:41
Oh, no. I would I would not be in a mob for just about any merchandise. I was just thinking about anchor man when has a trident and I was like that's
29:48
kind of what that entire scene looked like to me. Um, it was a little scary. I love the pink.
29:56
I love the little ghosties. I love the Winnie the Pooh um Halloween stuff like
30:01
a lot. Um I I just I just don't think that it's worth um
30:08
throwing elbows in a Disney shop before. No, I mean it shouldn't be ever. And I
30:13
think that's a real problem with uh the system as it is. I think if you
30:20
were only allowed to buy one or two items per day, period, like because if
30:26
especially as an annual passer, but I feel like there's ways that you can track. Correct. Like you could start scanning tickets
30:32
when you when you like no matter what like everybody's their ticket scanned when you make a purchase, especially of
30:39
these popular things. And if you could only buy two things per day and then they also release them online on the
30:44
same day, I think that would help a lot with the people that are coming and buying a million things to sell online,
30:50
which increases demand that really doesn't need to be increased. It's it's a kind of a false demand that's being
30:55
created by uh people trying to make quick buck. And um I think if they were
31:01
to crack down on that or just go online and start going after people and canceling their passes,
31:06
like I I think that would probably help with the
31:12
um the crazy competition to get whatever it is. But
31:19
um I I just I think that
31:25
um people one should just act with a little bit more decorum. Even if you are super excited for this, I am a type of
31:32
person that I would have roped dropped like these drawers because I love Halloween. Halloween is my favorite
31:37
holiday. I have a little ghost tattoo that's like super cutie pie because I love Halloween so much. Um and I love
31:45
pink like especially like baby pink Halloween. love that. But I just also think that like there is
31:51
something to be said about you don't need to hurt other people or be cruel to
31:58
other people, especially when you're Mhm. you know your intention when you're buying this stuff.
32:03
Well, and either way, it's a theme park. It's supposed to be about happiness and joy. Just be kind. Uh like that's that's
32:10
all it just stuff. I do like the Mickey ghosties. I think they're kind of cute. Um, I think a lot
32:17
of the stuff looked really like the decorations look fantastic. I would I haven't seen Starbucks, Disney,
32:23
Halloween stuff, but I did just see with my own two eyes the Haunted Mansion
32:30
Starbucks cup. Um, which somebody was like, "Oh my gosh, Katie, did you know about this?" And I was like, "I'm a Disney doll. What
32:36
do you mean did I know about this?" But the straw topper is a bat and that's really cute.
32:42
September 1st is a good date. I don't know. Um, no. What's the rule?
32:47
I don't care. I was kidding. When Disney parks decorate, we decorate.
32:53
There you go. So, yes, the holidays start before Thanksgiving here, but it's fine.
33:01
Mhm. Assuming there's time. Uh, all right. Well, speaking of time, we are running
33:08
out of some of that. So, Katie, what should people do? Should go to dapsmagic.com, check out all the Disney and geek news as it
33:14
happens. You should subscribe to our mailing list where you don't miss anything. Also, go to patreon.com/dapsmagic.
33:20
If you are not subscribed there, you should fix that within the next uh 5 to 10 minutes
33:26
and go catch us for Dabs After Dark on the Patreon. And make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel. We have a ton of videos
33:33
coming up, including a couple of uh fun things later this week that we will be getting up along with the last ride
33:41
through of Haunted Mansion for this year. in its traditional form before it makes the the transformation to Haunted
33:48
Mansion Holiday. But that is all the time we have for you this week. So we will see you around the corner. Bye.
