There is a new collection for fans to seek at Hong Kong Disneyland. The mystery Trash Cans are miniatures made up of six different trash cans found throughout Hong Kong Disneyland, including PUSH! Known as the Push Mystery Figurine, these Hong Kong Disneyland exclusive collectibles have become a hit with fans. They are found throughout different stores at Hong Kong Disneyland and each box contains a randomly selected figurine that looks like one of the themed trash cans found throughout the park.
The six trash cans include World of Frozen, Toy Story Land, Tomorrowland, “it’s a small world,” Main Street U.S.A., and also PUSH the Talking Trash Can in Fantasyland. They can all be seen here:
Amy and Rachel were the duo behind picking these six trash cans. They walked the park multiple times before deciding upon the six that made the collection. The ultimate goal was to choose trash cans that were colorful and distinctive. PUSH, who roams Fantasyland and interacts with guests, was always included as a part of this collection from the start.
“At the time, we wanted to create something unique to the park, and I immediately thought of making a mini-PUSH because of its popularity,” shared Amy. “We landed in this direction and decided to make a mini trash can mystery set of six.”
The popularity of this collection has been a surprise for everyone. They have become so popular that some guests have come into the park with their own looks that are clearly inspired by these collectibles and their inspirations. The whole thing has been a very pleasant surprise for Amy and Rachel.
“This toy trash can collection has also become a memorable part of my journey. I’m really grateful for the support from my team and my leaders,” shared Rachel. “Everyone contributed their ideas to make it a hit. Seeing a product I helped plan—from the concept and production to its market launch—become so well-loved by everyone brings me great satisfaction.”
